The man lived many lives and has left behind quite a legacy. As a diehard Flyers fan he always asked me about how my Field Hockey season was going, although he would often joke that it should be referred to as "Whistle Hockey" because he felt they blew the whistle too frequently, and he was unsure as to why the game was constantly interrupted. Of the many roles he played, I'll always envision him hiking through the Alps. Even though I rarely interacted with this man anywhere but a dining room table in South Jersey something inside me knew that his presence was the equivalent of a mountain top. A tall walking stick stood in his office along with a big map of our earth. He climbed a lot of mountains in his life. I hope that I can honor his legacy by climbing many more.
Here are a few photos I wanted to share to represent John Dale and his legacies.
